The Official Voice of Philippine
Travel Agencies Since 1979
The Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA) is the oldest and largest accredited national association of legitimate travel agencies in the Philippines — committed to consumer protection, industry excellence, and advocacy.
The national association of Philippine
travel agencies and tour operators
The Philippine Travel Agencies Association (PTAA) is the largest and only national association of travel agencies and tour operators in the Philippines. Established in 1979 through the union of the national associations of outbound travel agencies and inbound tour operators, PTAA was founded to foster unity within the travel industry, promote professional excellence, and advance the welfare of its members and the traveling public.
Today, with more than 600 members, PTAA serves as a strong and influential voice of the Philippine travel and tourism industry. It maintains close and active partnerships with international and domestic airlines, hotels, resorts, cruise lines, insurance companies, tourism organizations, embassies, and consulates, as well as key Philippine government agencies including the Department of Tourism (DOT), Tourism Promotions Board (TPB), Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), Bureau of Immigration (BI), Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), and Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).
PTAA is also the organizer of the Philippines’ biggest and premier travel expo, now on its 34th edition. Held twice a year, the expo provides a major platform for travel and tourism stakeholders to connect, promote destinations and products, and generate business opportunities—through its flagship Manila edition and its Visayas-Mindanao (VisMin) edition.
With its extensive membership, strong industry partnerships, and nationwide reach, PTAA continues to play a vital role in advancing Philippine tourism and strengthening the country’s position in the global travel industry.
A national body built
on trust and service
PTAA serves as the collective voice of Philippine travel agencies — advocating for industry rights, promoting professional standards, protecting consumers from fraud, and connecting Filipino travel professionals to the global tourism community.
